Sarah Diamond Presents on the First Amendment at UCLA

Venable counsel Sarah E. Diamond gave a presentation to approximately 150 media students at the University of California, Los Angeles on January 27, 2022. Topics of discussion included the basics of the First Amendment, including defamation, false light, intrusion upon seclusion, copyright infringement, right of publicity, and access to public records. The presentation also provided an overview of the First Amendment’s legal framework to undergraduate journalism students.
