Venable partner Paul Levin presented the "2022 Caselaw Update" for the Real Property Section of the Maryland State Bar Association on April 12, 2022. Key cases this year from the Court of Appeals, Court of Special Appeals, Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and District Court for the District of Maryland addressed development approvals, purchase options, and transfer tax considerations, along with a number of cases dealing with the impacts of COVID-19 on the real estate industry.
This is the third year that Paul has given this presentation to the Real Property Section and is a follow-up to Paul's presentation last month as part of Legal Excellence Week.
