What is the difference between facts and concepts? How does information progress from being remembered to being utilized? During this session, we will dive deeply into the steps of the human learning trajectory. Using Learning Objectives as a through line, we will consider how to walk students from surface to deep learning and consider why it is so difficult for people to move knowledge and skills between different contexts.
This webinar, hosted by the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools (NJAIS), will provide an overview of the current status of federal and state laws, regulations, and guidance on transgender students’ participation in sports, and discuss key issues and strategies for schools to consider when crafting their own participation policies for school sports.
