From Wednesday, May 8, through Friday, May 10, Grace Lee will conduct sessions covering Hot Legal Topics in HR at the New York State Association of Independent Schools (NYSAIS) Business Affairs Conference in New Paltz, NY. Grace will explore the ever-changing legal landscape impacting human resources at independent schools, including updates to the joint employer status, new NLRB rules about severance agreements and handbooks, affirmative action updates, antitrust issues, and AI considerations, as well as a general legal discussion of legal updates and hot topics that independent school CFOs and business officers need to know about.
