Privacy dark patterns have been referred to as “tricks” that manipulate consumers into giving up data or “deceptive tactics” that subvert consumer choice. But what does a privacy dark pattern actually look like? This panel will explore practices that might be defined as dark patterns and provide guidance regarding practices to avoid.
