Although some restrictions exist for nonprofits on certain types of advocacy activities, those restrictions by no means preclude nonprofits from participating in the democratic process. This session will provide a commonsense breakdown of the rules that apply to nonprofit lobbying and other political activities, providing attendees with the tools to incorporate advocacy in a way that maximizes effectiveness and minimizes compliance issues.
