Jay Johnson of Venable is joining the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association (ASLRRA) for the short line freight rail industry's premier annual event. The program will feature dozens of industries and subject-matter experts addressing the latest developments in rail infrastructure and transportation policy and the regulatory trends impacting regional carriers.
ASLRRA 2026 brings together railroad operators and legal professionals to discuss emerging issues at the intersection of transportation law and environmental compliance. This year's program includes a session, "The New NEPA: Understanding (and Implementing) Seven County Infrastructure Coalition v. Eagle County," moderated by Venable partner Jay Johnson.
