On October 19, Meaghan Kent will be a panelist at the New York City Bar Association's CLE program, Advising Nonprofits in the Age of AI, where she will speak on “Spotlight on Intellectual Property: When Nonprofits Create Content with AI.”
The session will give attendees a practical look at where IP risks arise when nonprofits use AI to create content: educational and training materials, reports, photos, videos and other media, logos, software, websites, and donor- or community-facing communications. Panelists will address ownership and use of AI-generated content, training and input issues, risks in using third-party content with AI tools, cases to watch, and the questions to ask before AI-assisted work goes out the door.
