Tough Standards, Diversity are Military Assets

This month marks the 65th anniversary of President Harry S. Truman’s executive order that led to the racial integration of America’s armed services. We’ve come a long way since that time, and leadership at the Department of Defense asserts that recruiting the widest possible pool of talent is not only the right thing to do, it is also a national security issue.
