Adtech is the set of technologies that supports the delivery of targeted digital advertising to consumers. This complex and rapidly evolving technology forms a critical part of the global digital economy.

Adtech companies and their users are subject to many different privacy laws, regulations, and industry codes. Since most companies use adtech to advertise and market their products and services online, counsel and privacy practitioners must be familiar with the adtech ecosystem, technology, and privacy issues at play, especially with the increased lawmaking and regulatory enforcement in this area.
