I'm excited to share the launch of a new season of AI and IP: The Legal Frontier, Venable's podcast exploring how AI is reshaping the legal landscape. This season builds on our conversations from Season 1 and goes deeper into the real-world challenges companies are facing as AI adoption accelerates across industries. We're also talking to industry leaders outside Venable for Season 2.
As a co-chair of Venable's IP Division and the host of this series, I'll be joined by colleagues and industry leaders to unpack emerging legal developments, evolving regulatory frameworks, and the practical risks and opportunities tied to AI. From cross-border considerations to cutting-edge use cases, we'll focus on what business leaders and legal teams need to know now.
In this new season, we'll also take a closer look at issues such as global compliance strategies, ownership of AI-generated outputs, training data risks, and the growing importance of governance in an increasingly automated environment.
Episode 1, "AI-Driven Enforcement in the E-Commerce Marketplace," with Kebharu Smith, director, Counterfeit Crimes Unit at Amazon, will be available May 26. And join us over the coming weeks to hear more episodes:
