Davinder H. Aulakh

Staff Attorney

Davinder Aulakh practices real estate finance law with a focus on transactional commercial matters. Davinder has represented clients in acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures, leasing, licenses, and management and brokerage engagements. Prior to joining Venable, he served as real estate counsel for an investment management company in the telecommunications industry, where he drafted and negotiated wireless communications site acquisition documents, including easements, leases, profit-sharing agreements, and SNDAs. Davinder has also performed due diligence reviews of wireless communications leases, ground leases, title documents, and organizational and authority documents, resolving any due diligence issues that had been identified.

Davinder brings a background in information technology and management consulting to his real estate finance practice. He has served as a consultant and team lead for multiple high-impact projects with the federal government. In addition to an MBA from Georgetown University, Davinder also holds certifications in machine learning implementation and design thinking from the M.I.T. Sloan Executive Education program and a blockchain strategy program certificate from Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford.
