Liz Barket Kremser advises clients on complex corporate transactions, commercial contracts, and general corporate matters, bringing experience in regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, corporate governance, intellectual property (IP), land use, and real estate to her growing practice. Liz represents clients from a wide variety of industries, including healthcare, technology, and cannabis. Her practice includes drafting and negotiating entity formation documents and other key business documents, as well as cornerstone commercial contracts.

Prior to joining Venable, Liz served as in-house transactional counsel for a leading cannabis holding company, where she supported and spearheaded a broad range of deals nationwide, including cannabis license and asset acquisitions, financing transactions, and purchasing or leasing real estate for cannabis operations. She also advises regarding compliance with cannabis regulations.
