Elijah Conley

Associate

Elijah Conley focuses his practice on labor and employment litigation, supporting his team by drafting pleadings and dispositive motions and assisting with discovery. Elijah also helps clients assess and manage risks by counseling them on labor and employment laws and assisting with internal investigations. Prior to joining Venable, he clerked for the Honorable Kristine G. Baker, Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas. Elijah managed a third of Judge Baker's civil docket, drafted dozens of orders, and assisted in facilitating trials and hearings.

While in law school, Elijah began building his litigation experience as a student attorney in Georgetown Law's Appellate Courts Immersion Clinic, where he litigated cases in the U.S. Courts of Appeals. As a student attorney, he co-authored two opening appellate briefs on behalf of prisoners.
