Jennifer focuses her practice on estate planning, trust and probate administration, lifetime gifting, and related tax matters. She counsels high-net-worth individuals, families, fiduciaries, and business owners on strategies for preserving wealth and managing risk across generations. She regularly advises clients on the design and implementation of sophisticated estate plans, including revocable living trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and customized gifting strategies involving charitable vehicles, intentionally defective grantor trusts, and spousal lifetime access trusts.
Jennifer has substantial experience guiding trustees and beneficiaries through all phases of trust and estate administration, with a focus on fiduciary obligations, trust interpretation, asset classification, and dispute resolution. She works closely with clients to mitigate risk and minimize the potential for litigation, offering practical advice. Her tax practice includes the preparation of estate and gift tax returns, resolution of IRS matters, and strategic counsel on generation-skipping transfer and property tax issues.
Prior to joining Venable, Jennifer held positions with international, regional, and boutique law firms and served as trust and managing counsel for leading financial institutions.
