Anna G. Dimon

Anna Dimon represents clients in all stages of litigation, from pre-suit dispute management and strategy through trial. Anna focuses on complex commercial, class action, and bankruptcy-related litigation. Anna has experience drafting pleadings and dispositive motions and leading teams through discovery. She has conducted oral arguments in state and federal courts and assisted clients with high-stakes internal investigations. She has also represented financial institutions, pharmaceutical companies, and nonprofit organizations in receipt of third-party subpoenas. Anna also maintains an active pro bono practice. Prior to joining Venable, she was an associate in the New York office of a leading international law firm.

  • Represented a municipal bond insurer in federal litigation related to the financial crisis in Puerto Rico and the unprecedented Title III restructuring proceedings of the commonwealth
  • Represented a telecommunications infrastructure company at a trial in the Southern District of New York related to the misappropriation of trade secrets and violations of non-solicitation agreements by a competitor
  • Conducted internal investigations for a hedge fund and major apparel company related to employee misconduct and fraud
