Monica Diaz helps clients handle commercial litigation and business disputes. Monica represents clients in state courts, federal courts, and arbitration proceedings by conducting legal research and drafting motions and other legal documents. Prior to becoming an attorney, she strengthened her writing skills as a communications specialist for a local government and as a writing instructor for first-year university students.

During law school, Monica held various positions that sharpened her writing, legal, and research skills. She served as the student writing editor for the University of Miami Inter-American Law Review, a research assistant focused on emerging financial technology regulations, and a student legal intern at the University of Miami Children and Youth Law Clinic. She also supported legal education as a dean’s fellow for criminal procedure courses and as a legal writing assistant with Exchange for Change’s prison education program.
