Eva-Maria graduated from St. John’s School of Law, where she was part of the St. John’s Law Review and Moot Court Society. She also took part in the Consumer Justice for the Elderly: Litigation Clinic, where she represented an elderly client scammed by a contractor.
Eva-Maria began her career in legal business development, then shifted her focus to study the law after helping on pro bono parole cases. That experience gives her a unique perspective on collaborating firmwide and finding useful resources to address client needs. Since joining Venable, she has worked on a pro bono appeal that resulted in a reduced sentence and conducted pro bono research related to COVID overpayments to part-time teachers.
