Marisa Gomez

Marisa Gomez represents clients in matters related to commercial litigation. Marisa has experience working on a wide variety of cases, including class action disputes arising from false advertising claims, insurance coverage disputes, personal injury cases, landlord-tenant issues, and contract disputes. She is a member of Venable’s Latin American affinity group and participates in the firm’s pro bono asylum work. Outside of the firm, Marisa also has extensive experience advising on political and voting rights issues through her nonprofit work.

Marisa graduated from Fordham Law School and Fordham University in an accelerated 3-3 law program. At Fordham, she participated in mediation competitions as a member of the Dispute Resolution Society (DRS) - ABA Mediation Team. Prior to law school, she worked as a corporate legal intern at an international law firm, drafting Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) financing statements, reviewing credit agreements, and briefing contracts for financial deals.
