Sam Gottstein partners with healthcare clients to develop and execute advocacy strategies that advance their legislative, regulatory, programmatic, and business objectives before Congress and the executive branch. Her work includes policy analysis and research, coalition building, stakeholder engagement, and planning and executing advocacy events, including congressional briefings, roundtables, coalition meetings, and fly-ins.

Prior to joining Venable, Sam helped launch a first-of-its kind media platform focused on voting rights and democracy reform, playing a key role in developing its visual and communications strategy. She has worked closely with elected officials, political campaigns, political party committees, nonprofits, and other stakeholders in Washington on a range of policy and legal initiatives. Sam also has experience in media relations, issue advocacy, and social media strategy.
