Glen advises clients on state and federal advertising issues, such as automatic renewal programs, internet marketing and sales, telemarketing, pricing laws, and membership clubs. This includes assisting clients with the Restore Online Shoppers' Confidence Act (ROSCA), Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR). He also provides counsel on various rules issued by the Federal Trade Commissions (FTC). Glen additionally assists clients on enforcement actions brought by the FTC and state attorneys general and advocates for clients on product liability matters.
In the fintech space, Glen focuses on commercial mortgage and non-mortgage lending regulations. He counsels lenders on loan origination, servicing, purchasing, and brokerage as regulated by state and federal lending laws, as well as other ancillary federal laws, such as the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), when applicable. He also helps companies draft policies and procedures that encompass anti-money laundering and fair lending laws.
As part of his telecommunications practice, Glen assists internet service providers with advocacy and applications to programs administered by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), such as the Broadband Equity Access and Deployment (BEAD) and E-Rate programs, and helps clients comply with applicable state regulations on tariffs, franchise agreements, and broadband requirements.
Glen served in the U.S. Army before law school under the Medical Command at Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii. He also lived in Jakarta and Montreal, providing him with a unique world view and fluency in Indonesian and French that he brings to his practice.
