Matthew Julyan advises clients on matters related to intellectual property, trademarks, and patent infringement. Prior to joining Venable, Matthew worked for New York Law School’s U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Clinic, where he represented small businesses before the Office, conducted trademark searches, evaluated trademarks for distinctiveness, and prepared written reports to clients concerning the likelihood of registrability. Matthew also completed Venable’s Summer Boot Camp, where he researched case law, drafted memoranda on deposition strategies, and participated in depositions.
