Brian Klock, chair of Venable's Patent Prosecution and Counseling - Technology Group, is an experienced intellectual property (IP) litigator whose clients rely on his advocacy when confronted with patents alleged to have industry-wide impact. Brian also represents clients in contested proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). He has significant experience in patent prosecution, having worked as a USPTO patent examiner. Whatever the need, Brian recognizes the importance of understanding the technology at issue and has the skills to leverage that insight. Before joining Venable, Brian spent his entire career practicing at Fitzpatrick, Cella, Harper & Scinto.
