Anne Le Rolle concentrates her patent practice on the life sciences. Anne works creatively and effectively to capture patentable subject matter and assess the technical utility and commercial potential of inventions. With a Ph.D. in immunology, she brings to the Patent Prosecution and Counseling Group research experience in the biomedical and biological sciences, especially for technologies related to cell and gene therapies, antibodies, and vaccines.

Prior to joining Venable, Anne was a patent agent for a leading intellectual property firm in Europe, where she prepared patent applications, managed and prosecuted patent portfolios, and conducted validity and freedom-to-operate analyses. She passed the European patent bar in 2007.
