Keegan draws on his background in mechanical engineering and experience as a patent examiner with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), where he conducted prior art searches and examined patent applications, including abrading apparatuses and methods, vacuums, hand tools, and brushes. Before joining the USPTO, he was a technical sales engineer for an engineering firm, where he managed the design, quoting, and execution of complex industrial hydraulic system projects. Keegan also has a working knowledge of both Spanish and German.
