Joseph Orlando

Joe Orlando helps clients navigate complex commercial disputes, drawing on his background in city government and the federal courts. Before joining Venable, he served as a law clerk to a federal judge, helping to adjudicate a broad range of motions, including motions to amend pleadings, compel discovery, remand removed actions, sever claims, and impose sanctions. Prior to his clerkship, he defended New York City agencies against challenges to administrative action. Joe's experience provides a familiarity in dealing with the various procedural and substantive issues that arise in both federal and state courts.
