Ben Paull represents clients in high-risk business disputes in U.S. federal and state courts (trial and appellate), international arbitrations, and cross-border investigations and regulatory enforcement actions. Ben advises multinational corporations, private equity funds, investment banks, lenders, and asset managers. He counsels these clients on a range of complex cross-border disputes, export control and economic sanctions disputes, business torts, securities and shareholder disputes, and real estate disputes. Ben also routinely acts for debtors and creditors across the capital stack on disputed issues arising from investments, financings, derivatives, and distressed debt transactions, including in bankruptcy proceedings, insolvency-related litigation, and out-of-court restructurings.

Ben is a dual-qualified attorney admitted to practice in New York and Australia. In addition to his trial and appellate work in U.S. and Australian federal and state courts, he counsels clients in arbitrations under the American Arbitration Association (AAA), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR), International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), and JAMS rules, and in cross-border investigations and regulatory enforcement actions involving the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
