Sophia Porotsky focuses her practice on complex civil litigation and works with clients in a variety of industries, including financial services, hospitality, healthcare, life sciences, and media and entertainment. Sophia represents plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts in New York and across the U.S. in a broad range of matters, including securities fraud, theft of trade secrets, business torts, breach of fiduciary duty, complex breach of contract, and international commercial disputes. She also has experience with corporate governance and investigations, and federal and state government enforcement defense.
                             
                         
                            
                                
                                    In law school, Sophia was an award-winning competitor and executive board member of the Brendan Moore Trial Advocates and a member of the Moot Court team. She also spent two semesters as a legal intern in Fordham's Federal Litigation Clinic, representing indigent clients in civil and criminal proceedings in district court and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
