Sophia Porotsky

While in law school, Sophia was an award-winning trial advocate and served on the executive board of the Brendan Moore Trial Advocates. She was also a member of the Moot Court team. Through Fordham Law School's Federal Litigation Clinic, she spent two semesters representing indigent clients in civil and criminal proceedings in federal district court and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

- Represented a hotel management company in litigation against a former executive and his competing venture involving allegations of trade secret misappropriation, breach of fiduciary duty, and tortious interference based on the theft of confidential information and the solicitation of clients
- Represented an international hotel management company in cross-border litigation arising out of a dispute under a hotel management agreement
- Advised the Demand Review Committee of the board of an alternative asset management company and led an investigation relating to shareholder claims alleging regulatory violations involving the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC), and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)
