Ashley Qamar is a member of the corporate practice, focusing on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and general corporate and securities matters. Ashley represents public and private companies across a wide range of industries. Her experience includes work on cross-border joint ventures, strategic partnerships, and international merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions involving clients in Asia, Latin America, and Europe. Her work frequently involves coordinating with local counsel and internal teams on complex, multi-jurisdictional matters, conducting legal due diligence, drafting and reviewing transaction documentation, and helping manage deal execution through closing and post-closing integration.
Ashley also supports public and private financing transactions, including equity and debt offerings, as well as advising clients on Securities Act and Exchange Act reporting obligations, corporate governance matters, and ongoing securities law compliance. Ashley regularly assists with the preparation of disclosure documents and periodic reports, and she supports clients through a variety of transactional and regulatory matters.
Passionate about helping clients grow their businesses, in law school Ashley focused her studies on business law. Prior to law school, Ashley studied business administration at Fordham University's Gabelli School of Business.
