William Rice

Will Rice focuses his practice on real estate and business planning matters. Representing clients across the country in a broad array of commercial real estate transactions, Will offers counsel regarding all types of property, including residential, commercial, office, and mixed-use development projects. He has drafted sale, acquisition, loan, and refinancing documents for nearly $3 billion in commercial transactions, coordinating closings with seamless communication between all parties. Will also has experience advising clients on business formation, registration, and compliance.

Prior to joining Venable, Will was an associate attorney in a commercial real estate law firm in Baltimore, where he drafted primary and ancillary deal documents, negotiated with businesses and lenders to facilitate transactions, and conducted due diligence review of real estate agreements, title and survey matters, and land records.
