Elizabeth Sines counsels clients at the state and federal levels and collaborates on a variety of matters across the firm. Before she joined Venable, Elizabeth was at the Homeless Persons Representation Project in Baltimore, where she worked with clients on all phases of representation, including conducting intake, advising regarding Veterans Administration benefits eligibility, and serving as a liaison to the Department of Veterans Affairs. Prior to this, she was with the Garrett County State’s Attorney’s Office in Oakland, Maryland. There she assisted the state’s attorney in establishing a new drug treatment court and drafted core program documents, including a participant contract, handbook, and policy manual.
