While in law school, Omarley served as the William M. Hoeveler Fellow in the University of Miami Center for Ethics and Public Service, a Fellow in the University of Miami Children and Youth Law Clinic, and a participant in the University of Miami Litigation Skills Program, where they received multiple honors. They are a recipient of the Dean’s Merit Scholarship Award and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in International Finance. Before law school, Omarley founded and served as the former chairman for the Bridges Multicultural Outreach Program, a nonprofit educational agency at the University of Florida, designed to enhance educational opportunity for high school students from various underrepresented backgrounds.
