Taylor Harrison

Harrison Taylor is an associate in Venable's Product Liability and Mass Torts Practice Group with experience in complex litigation matters involving pharmaceutical and biologics products. Harrison has substantive litigation experience in state and federal courts, including case strategy, managing and coordinating discovery, drafting various pre- and post-trial motions, expert witness preparation, and conducting legal research and analysis.

As a member of Venable's Product Liability and Mass Tort Practice Group, Harrison represents pharmaceutical companies in complex litigation, including:

  • Representing the manufacturer of an adult vaccine in nationwide litigation involving allegations that the vaccine failed to prevent its intended illness and increased the likelihood of contracting the virus, if taken. Assists with individual case management, company story development, litigation strategy, and various aspects of discovery
  • Representing a vaccine manufacturer in a False Claims Act case involving allegations of fraudulent conduct in a clinical trial and misstatement of a product's efficacy. Played an integral role in developing, deposing, and defending numerous expert witnesses
  • Representing the manufacturer of a pediatric vaccine in a lawsuit alleging that brain injury resulted from vaccination. Assisted with case strategy and the drafting of a successful dispositive motion

Prior to joining Venable, Harrison was an associate at a New York-based law firm, where his practice focused on commercial litigation, white collar criminal defense, and internal investigations involving accounting fraud issues, the False Claims Act, and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

As a law student, Harrison served as a legal intern at the Baltimore City State's Attorney's Office, where he was assigned to the Zone 3 Division, which is responsible for prosecuting criminal misconduct occurring in Baltimore City's Southwest, Northwest, and Northern police districts.
