Ian Williams advises clients on the legal issues impacting the development and deployment of autonomous vehicles. Prior to joining Venable, Ian served as the inaugural fellow for the University of Michigan Law School’s Law and Mobility Program, where he managed the day-to-day operations of the program, including liaising with transportation law and policy experts, creating blog content, and serving as the managing editor of the Journal of Law and Mobility. He was also an instructor and co-instructor for courses focused on legal and policy issues relating to automated vehicles and organized conferences focused on automated vehicles and the law.
