Venable has one of the leading healthcare practices in the United States. Our nationally ranked practice and many of its attorneys have been recognized as leaders in the field by Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business; Best Lawyers in America; and Nightingale's Healthcare News. With more than 40 years of experience and 50 attorneys with comprehensive healthcare and regulatory experience, we have been trusted advisors to healthcare professionals adapting to the new regulatory landscape. We represent a broad range of clients in complex M&A transactions. Our clients include hospitals and hospital systems, insurance companies, physicians, physician groups, and continuing care facilities, as well as nonprofit organizations and academic teaching hospitals and systems.

Venable attorneys share a wealth of experience in helping businesses thrive in a highly regulated environment. As a firm headquartered in Washington, DC, we have a large number of attorneys who are former lawmakers and regulators; they bring the value of this significant regulatory expertise together with our deep bench in business transactions. Operating at the nexus of the private and public sectors, our team is able to design effective strategies and solutions and advise our clients in a way that ensures the client remains a viable business while maintaining regulatory compliance and providing quality healthcare services.
