A team of lawyers consisting of Henry Brandenstein, Jay Chadwick, Lauren Coapstick and others recently completed the creation of a 9-unit condominium project for Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia, Inc. (HFHNV), a local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity.
The project, which is located in Fairfax County and is known as "Maple Ridge," included drafting the condominium instruments, registering the condominium with the Virginia Common Interest Community Board, and drafting a custom set of deed restrictions and loan documents that HFHNV will use on future projects. Eight new Habitat families purchased their units at Maple Ridge on June 22, and will move in immediately.
