Last month, Venable announced the addition of a team of high-profile real estate attorneys in the firm’s New York City office from Dewey & LeBoeuf. Venable more than doubled the size of its New York real estate practice with the addition of partners Peter Britell, Gordon Davis and Suzanne St. Pierre, of counsel Sue Golden and associates Michael Phillipou and Ashley Dunn.
On June 1, 2012, The Real Deal featured a story on Dewey’s former real estate attorneys including the new Venable team. The article also included a photo of Davis, Britell, St. Pierre, and Golden in the New York office. Davis said when the time came for the team to switch firms, “for our particular group we found a lot of choices,” before ultimately choosing Venable.
