(“RLJ Acquisition”) on October 3, 2012 by RLJ Acquisition, a special purpose acquisition company. RLJ Acquisition acquired both Acorn and Image Entertainment, Inc. (OTCQB: DISK), to create RLJ Entertainment, Inc. (NASD: RLJE), one of the largest independent global distributors of digital and video content.
Sharon Kroupa, Carmen Fonda, Uyen Pham, Joe Walker, and Mike Sheehan represented Acorn in structuring, negotiating and closing the transaction.
