While the premise of having multiple companies compete for business, some lead generation sites do not always act in the best interest of the customer. Despite the concerns and action of some sites, the vast majority are looking for consumers interested in their products.
"There's a danger in painting with a broad brush that all lead generation carries some risk because that's simply not the case," said Pompan.
