Early in his career, Morton said he thought about being a litigator, but "discovered that helping clients build businesses was a lot more fun." On the uniqueness of working in Baltimore, he said, "This is a large enough town to have a sophisticated practice, while still small enough to be part of a professional community." When asked about what he expects in the coming year and how the industry will change in the next ten years, he said, "Political uncertainty creates an opportunity to help clients navigate unfamiliar situations…As the legal landscape continues to become more complicated, the need for legal specialization will grow."
