Kevin Lipson Joins Venable's Regulatory Practice in Washington, DC

WASHINGTON, DC (March 13, 2019) – Venable LLP is pleased to announce that Kevin J. Lipson has joined the firm as a partner in the Regulatory Practice in the Washington, DC office. Mr. Lipson, who has a national reputation as an energy lawyer, joins Venable after 26 years at Hogan Lovells.

Mr. Lipson has represented major companies in the natural gas, power, and renewable industries. During his tenure at Hogan, he served as the practice head of the Energy Practice and global co-head of the Energy Practice. He also founded and was the chair of the firm's Global Energy Summit. Mr. Lipson's practice has evolved over time, and he now represents the estate of the iconic American pop artist, Robert Indiana, the creator of the world famous LOVE sculptures and other major works.
