Venable represented the renowned Hollywood executive Stacey Snider in a joint venture with media mogul Liz Murdoch and her new partner, Jane Featherstone. Together, they will be launching Sister, a new global content company. Based in London and with an office in Los Angeles, Sister will develop movies and TV shows with a focus on supporting new and visionary talent. Prior to this transaction, Stacey was the chair and CEO of 20th Century Fox. Stacy left Fox around the time of the Disney-Fox merger. The Venable team advised Stacey on all commercial, corporate, employment, and tax matters for a complex cross-border transaction. The Venable team consisted of Alan Epstein, Friedemann Thomma, Paul Bernstein, Scott Thompson, Becca Chappell, Nic Jacobus, and Molly Schneider.
