On January 27, 2022, Grant Schneider, senior director of cybersecurity services at Venable, was announced as a recipient of the Baldrige Foundation’s Awards for Leadership Excellence. This award recognizes Mr. Schneider’s significant achievements within the field of Cybersecurity and his contributions in supporting the Foundation’s mission to promote organizational performance excellence throughout the United States and the world.
Mr. Schneider is a recognized leader in the cybersecurity sector with extensive experience driving organizational change, improving program maturity while reducing costs, developing policy and governance structures, and driving enterprise-wide technology modernization initiatives. Having served as the U.S. federal chief information security officer (CISO) based out of the White House and on the White House National Security Council (NSC) as senior director for cybersecurity policy, Mr. Schneider is uniquely positioned to assist clients in navigating the strategic, operational, and risk management needs of large-scale global technology environments.
Established by Congress in 1988 as the private partner to the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program, the Baldrige Foundation annually recognizes leaders who have contributed outstanding service on a sustained basis in the fields of small and large business, nonprofit, government, health care, education, and cybersecurity.
Mr. Schneider will be honored at the 2022 Quest for Excellence® conference held at the National Harbor in Maryland on April 5.
