In its August edition, the Arlington Newsletter highlighted three prominent real estate projects that the Venable team is working on. Ked Whitmore and Zachary Williams are at the helm of these development efforts.
Williams is assisting Rooney Properties as they move forward with plans for a 12-story multifamily building at the I-66 and Route 29 interchange. Williams added, “The proposed development will help transform Langston Boulevard into a main street with taller buildings concentrated around an activity hub.”
Whitmore worked with the Meridian Group on plans for a 323-unit high-rise building with more than 10,000 square feet of retail situated along the Wilson Boulevard corridor. “The proposed development will help enhance the walkable mixed-use environment in the Courthouse and Clarendon neighborhoods,” said Whitmore.
Whitmore is also working with Crescent Communities on their plans to transform an aging hotel site along South Glebe Road into a property with more than 530 residential units.
