Denver, CO (January 13, 2025) – Elizabeth Manno was elected to the board of directors of the National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL) for a three-year term, which began on New Year’s Day. Founded in 1899, NAWL’s mission is to provide leadership, a collective voice, and essential resources to advance women in the legal profession and advocate for the equality of women under the law.

Elizabeth has worked closely with the organization for many years, serving as a co-chair of NAWL’s Research Committee from 2019 to 2025 and the chair of NAWL’s Denver conference in 2019. In 2019, she was honored with NAWL’s Virginia S. Mueller Outstanding Member Award for her exemplary contributions to the organization.

“We are thrilled to welcome Elizabeth to NAWL's Board of Directors. Her extensive experience and proven leadership will be invaluable as we continue to promote our mission to advance women in the legal profession and advocate for the equality of women under the law,” said NAWL’s executive director, Karen Richardson. “We look forward to her insights and contributions as we work together to achieve our strategic goals."

“I am so inspired by the deeply important work that NAWL engages in to serve our community and the next generation of women lawyers,” Elizabeth shared. “It is an honor to join a board filled with such talent.”

Elizabeth’s practice focuses on technology disputes, including patent infringement, licensing, and other IP litigation. She represents leading companies in a variety of technology fields, including media streaming, semiconductors, GPS, wireless devices, internet-of-things, artificial intelligence, and medical devices. She also counsels companies on ways to maximize the benefits of their IP portfolios. Elizabeth’s holistic approach provides a steady hand and sound advice at every phase of disputes. She provides pre-suit counseling to help achieve the clients’ goals without litigation. When litigation is necessary, she leads teams to victory and is an especially strong advocate in oral arguments and on appeal.

Elizabeth received her B.A. from The George Washington University, and her J.D. from the University of Florida.
