Kevin Shepherd presented “Corruption and Money Laundering: Lawyers as Gatekeepers” at a meeting of the American Foreign Law Association (AFLA) in New York City on March 21. Kevin’s co-panelists were a senior policy advisor on terrorist financing for the U.S. Department of Treasury and the chief legal officer for the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate. The AFLA, founded in 1925, promotes the understanding and application of foreign, comparative, and international law.
