Jonathan Pompan will preside as moderator of "Consumer Financial Protection Investigations and Enforcement: A View from the DOJ, FTC, and CFPB" at the American Bar Association 2012 Antitrust Fall Forum.

The consumer financial law regulatory and enforcement landscape has changed. The Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) all have a role in enforcing laws and regulations that cover consumer financial products and services. Consumer protection attorneys and their clients need to understand the scope and power of each agency, how they interrelate, how they will coordinate investigations, and how they each impact the consumer financial law landscape. This session brings together enforcers from the three agencies and will discuss the latest enforcement and policy related developments.

Speakers:

J. Reilly Dolan, Assistant Director, Division of Financial Practices, Federal Trade Commission, Washington, DC
Lucy Morris, Deputy Enforcement Director, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Washington, DC
Deirdre McEvoy, Chief, New York Field Office, U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division, New York, NY
