On October 19, 2020, Justin Pierce, co-chair of Venable's Intellectual Property Division, will speak on the diversity panel during the finale of the National Council on Patent Practicum's (NCPP) COVID Relief Package CLE Series. Mr. Pierce will join his fellow panelists in addressing diversity concerns in the patent profession.
The NCPP, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, oversees the development and operation of the Certified Patent Practitioner (CPP) program. The CPP credential is a professional designation that distinguishes those who have demonstrated experience, proficiency, knowledge, and understanding of patent drafting and prosecution through involvement in the patent preparation and prosecution processes.
