Venable attorneys Paul Debolt and James Boland will present “ACC NCR Litigating Claims: Big Rewards and Big Risks,” to be hosted by ACC on June 15, 2021. During this presentation, a seasoned panel will discuss the challenges faced by companies involved in claims with their government customers and their subcontractors. We will share common mistakes made by companies that result in the need to file a claim against the government, and mistakes made by other companies that have resulted in the Boards of Contract Appeals or the U.S. Court of Federal Claims denying the appeal of a contracting officer’s decision. In addition, we will examine issues that can arise in the context of a prime contractor/subcontractor relationship and effective strategies for managing outside counsel during the litigation process.
