At the MISBO Annual Conference in October 2022, Ashley Sykes led the breakout session, “Managing Employee and Student Mental Health Issues,” which was focused on how to navigate the impact left by mental health crises on students and employees. This session was intended to prepare school leaders with tools for creating strategies for accommodations, privacy, and communication when addressing student and employee mental health issues.
